Shooting Range Level 1

Our level I firearms course is a supplemental course designed for anyone looking to familiarize themselves with basic firearms proficiency and weapons handling and safety. Our team of firearms instructors ranging from different shooting backgrounds will introduce you to different styles of shooting.

Our Level I course doesn’t require any prior experience and you do not need to own a firearm to attend.

You will learn:

  • Firearm terminology and operation
  • Different types of ammunition
  • Firearm safety
  • Proper firearm storage
  • Equipment, holsters, ammo
  • Shooting fundamentals- loading, unloading, immediate and remedial actions
  • Pistol shooting techniques- proper grip, stance, trigger control
  • Basic defensive shooting techniques- instinctual shooting
